Squam River Covered Bridge, Ashland, NH
This covered bridge is a youngster compared to most. The Squam River Covered Bridge in Ashland, NH, was built in 1990 and is dedicated to Milton S. Graton.

A sign nearby reads, In Memory of Pauline M. Calley Whose Dream of a Graton Covered Bridge Came True.

I visited this bridge on a trip to New Hampshire last fall. Ashland is located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, about 20 minutes from Lake Winnipesaukee.
