Free Health, Money & Consumer Protection Information

Get your life in order with free publications that will help you improve your health, grow your wealth and be a smart consumer.

CPHThe 2006 Consumer Action Handbook, available free from ConsumerAction.gov, is a must have for every consumer.

This 159 page booklet provides information about how to be a Savvy Consumer with advice about everything from online auctions to filing a complaint.

Included in the Handbook is a Consumer Assistance Directory. This section provides contact information for State and Federal agencies and many well know private corporations.

Hints from Heloise and the FCIC are offering a Consumer Protection Package of 11 free publications. The booklets cover a variety of subjects including disability rights, Homeland Security, cell phones, retirement and investments.

The My Money Tool Kit available free from www.mymoney.gov includes a copy of the 2006 Consumer Action Handbook and a number of other booklets that cover a wide variety of topics to help you manage your money and your life more efficiently. Also contained in the kit are booklets about credit, taxes, saving, education, social security, retirement, fitness and more.

According to the customer service representative at MyMoney, this offer is about to expire. The CS representative did state that there was a possibility that it might be extended through the end of May, but don’t count on it. Get your order in ASAP or you might miss out on this great offer.

Give yourself the gift of health by ordering a "gift basket" of free Women's Health Fact Sheets. These informative fact sheets, available from the FDA Office of Women's Health, provide information about various health problems including heart disease, diabetes and stroke.
