You're never too old to learn and when you can learn for free that's even better. Here are eight great sites that offer free non-credit courses.

You can learn from the comfort of home at your own pace. Before you can enroll in a course, your usually required to complete a registration process.

MIT OpenCourseWare
MIT Offers over 1400 free, non-credit courses in everything from Aeronautics to History.

University of Washington Outreach
Offers free online courses in history, literature and HTML. For a full list of courses, click the free online courses link on the lower left of the main page.

Brigham Young University
Although BYU is an accredited University, these are non-credit courses. Free courses mainly concentrate on genealogy research and the Bible, but also offer bowling and swimming and government.

WebMD University
Need help managing your diabetes or dealing with stress? WebMD offers free courses to help you deal with childrenā€˜s weight problems, diabetes, stress, and breast cancer. Classes last four weeks and are conducted online at a scheduled time. They have a online student lounge where you can chat with other students. Registration is required.

BBC.com offers a wide range of online courses from cooking to science.

SBA.com
Are you new to the world of business and need a little extra help? The SBA offers free courses in starting a business, business management, financing and more.


HP
offers free online class to help you at home or at the office. They offer courses on every thing from how to improve your digital photography to learning the basics of CorelDRAW 12.

Cnet offers a range of technology and computer courses that change every few weeks. They all have a set start and end date, but you can log in and proceed at your own pace.
