Ponytails are easy, fast and stylish this year. (This article begins on the previous page)
Variation 3.

Create this variation by doing the basic ponytail, but wrapping the band once around the ponytail and then catching the ends of the tail in the band on the second wrap. Use wax or pomade and hairspray to make the ends spike out.
Variation 4.

Try wearing a low ponytail and using a medium to large sized barrette to clip the ends up and use pomade or wax to spike them out.
Variation 5

Do you have curly hair? Pull it back, as smoothly as you can, and fasten it securely. You may want to use a larger fastener or simply put bobby pins all the way around it instead of using a band. Scrunch hair serum, hair crème or wax into the ends to get rid of frizz and to separate the curls. This style makes more of an impact if you backcomb and hairspray the curls so that the ‘tail’ is full.
Bangs

If you have short bangs, try one of these looks. Just smooth them to the side and use hairspray to hold them.
Whether you are heading off to class or to the office, the next time the alarm doesn’t go off or you hit the snooze alarm one too many times, take a little time for a stylish, finished looking ponytail. No one has to know you were running late.
