According to PWinsder.com and other sources, Randy Orton has been suspended from WWE for 60 days. There are no details on what the infraction was but he is scheduled to wrestle Rey Mysterio at the Smackdown tapings tonight. I don't suppose that will happen now.
I won’t even speculate as to what Orton did to merit a two-month suspension but surely will fill you in when I get solid information.
WWE has sent out a text message via their mobile service saying that Orton was suspended for "unprofessional conduct" which could mean a number of things.
I suppose it was a good thing Rey Mysterio won the World Heavyweight Belt and not Orton as explaining a two month absence of the champ would be difficult to do.
Sixty days for a top level guy is a long time so don't expect this to be a small misstep on behalf of Orton. Whatever he did was no doubt a serious infraction. I have some suspicions but will wait until I get word on the verified cause of this suspension before passing it along.
Also, Tyson Tomko quit WWE Monday night and is headed to work in Japan. It's probably for the best. When was the last time anyone saw Tomko in WWE TV?
He was promised a push after WrestleMania and the push went to Goldust instead (Tomko was to team with Snitksy but WWE changed their minds and paired Snitsky with Goldust). Frankly, I don't see that as much of a push for anyone.
I wish Tyson the best.
Lastly, wonder no more. The strange "jungle man" on Raw was none other than WWE's Jamal who was rehired recently. He was part of the Three Minute Warning team with Rosey, who has since been released. His manager is Osama Rodriguez Alejandro (aka Big Lalo), a product of Ohio Valley Wrestling. I bet Jamal is thrilled with his latest gimmick….
I am off to the forum to announce the WrestleMania Contest winners now. THAT was close.
I will be having another contest soon which will be much different so watch for that.
