Hello, and welcome back! We're enjoying the decidedly non-summer weather here, and hoping the fall temps stick around for a long time. At least, until it's time for winter and snow, that is.
This time out, I have the announcement of our October Book Club Selection. As always, our discussion will take place in the forum , the week of 10/24/06, and you can start reading (or rereading, as the case may be) anytime between now and then!

The Forest Lord by Susan Krinard is this month's fantasy romance choice. Eden suffered devastating heartbreak twice more than six years ago, first when she found that the man she wanted to marry wasn't the man she believed, but a 'monster', and second when her child was stillborn. Except that now she has discovered her child is really alive. Hern, the Forest Lord, has waited for vengeance, and upon finding that his son is alive and not dead as he'd also been led to believe, poses as Hartley Shaw, a servant in Eden's new household, still bent on revenge.
