How to Write an Amazing Love Letter

How to Write an Amazing Love Letter
The time to write your love letter is now. Don’t wait for a special occasion or as an apology for some fight that you just had. Write the letter out of the blue and it will mean more to her or him.

The first thing you should do is make a list of all the things that you love about your partner, and all the many ways that they make you feel. Just by making this list you are well on your way to the most amazing letter that they probably have ever received.

Next you want to make sure that they letter is directed towards them. Instead of saying “I love it when you cook me dinner” say something more focused on them, such as, “ I love watching the beaded sweat on your forehead, and the muscles of your arms as you lean over the stove, your hair dipping precariously near the soup”. Give them all the little details that get forgotten in every day life, like the way they tuck their hair behind their ears, or the way they push up their glasses while reading. These little things show that you pay attention to the minute details of them, and that is one of the most romantic things that you can do. Just noticing them, and finding them fascinating is very touching to the recipient. Let them know that you still love them as much as ever, if not more with every passing day.

Include a poem, perhaps their favorite, or one that you have personally written. Remember, poetry does not have to rhyme. You can also place a flower that has been dried and pressed into the note. It adds beauty and scent. The more little touches that you add, the more it will show how much effort you put into writing this letter.

Now comes the fun part, staging. It is best to put the note someplace unexpected, perhaps in their lunch, briefcase, even underwear drawer. You could slip it into their wallet, or in a pocket, anywhere where finding it is going to come as a surprise.

Also, don’t stop with just this letter. Write more. Write everyday. Make them unique and not a quick “I love you”. Use words other than the standard to describe how much you care and adore your significant other, in fact, make it a goal not to use those three little words, at least not until closing the letter.

Love is a precious thing, feed it and treat it as sacred and you will be rewarded in numerous ways.
