Shopping this Holiday Season
Looking for a gift for a Domestic Violence Survivor? Or would you like to make a purchase that would benefit victims and survivors of Domestic Violence? I have looked high and low for shopping ideas and here are some of the things I have found. Have you found a good deal and want to share? E-mail me and I will add it here to my list.

The first item I would like to tell you about is this beautiful bracelet.

It is a strand of white pearls with a sterling silver charm that has the word “SURVIVOR” on it. Shipping is free on the items through Monarch Pearls. The “Witness Justice” program is supported my Monarch Pearls. The Witness Justice program supports survivors fo violence and their families. If you purchase a bracelet through this link and enter the code listed on the page Monarch Pearls will donate $10 of your purchase to the Witness Justice program! Monarch Pearls supports other charities as well. See this page for a listing of the charities and organizations supported by the company.

I have set up a shop that sells T-shirts, coffee mugs, cards, journals, etc that are created by and designed by me. Wesley, my 6 year old, picked out the designs for the Christmas cards. Half of all my sales through this website are going to be donated to the YWCA’s shelters and programs for domestic violence survivors and their children.

If you have someone who is an avid reader, here is a booklist that I recommend.

Journaling often helps some heal from pain they have experienced. Here are some journals or books about journaling that I recommend.

Need a gift for someone that lives far away? Gift certificates are always a good idea for online stores such as Best thing about Amazon is they will email your gift to the person so you don't have to worry about mailing it yourself!
