Earring Advent Event - Penguins

For the next 25 days, I'll be posting a new earring pattern every day. This is the first one, I did my model in Delicas, and odd count peyote. Use peyote or brick stitch, larger beads will make a nice pendant, and smaller beads will make a tiny earring or tie tack.

I recommend using size 12 needles and silamide if you are making them out of Delicas or other Japanese cylinder beads.
Marilyn G. beaded this fantastic pair.

One of my favorite penguin patterns of all time is Elizabeth Scarborough's Fred and Ginger pattern which is available at Bead-Patterns.com
Delphi Glass has instructions for an adorable penguin bead made out of glass.
Making Friends has this adorable penguin "beadie".
JenaGirlBeads has some of the most adorable lampwork penguins I've ever seen!
