Earring Advent Event- Days 14-18
Christmas stockings were always one of my favorite parts of the holidays.
My great-aunt Liz knitted incredibly intricate stockings in fine gauge for 3 generations of children in my family, they are huge with our names in the top and Christmas morning would always find them full of apples, oranges and nuts and a few little things. Pencils and perfume frequently for me.
We still use them sometimes, but my daughter also loves designing new stockings every year, she sews them, or purchases them and decorates them with lots of glitter.
Day 14- Little Angel Stocking
Day 15- Santa Stocking
Day 16- Teddy Bear Stocking
Day 17- The blank stocking graphs for your pleasure and ideas. All three are one image file, feel free to save it to use in your favorite graphics program if you aren't a colored pencil grapher.
Day 18- A Wreath
Since tomorrow I'm going back to non-Christmas patterns, I thought I should put this in here.
Gillian Buchanan, the tatting host has this delicate lacy pattern for a stocking.
