Zimbbos!

Zimbbos!
When you are looking for a board game for a three year old, your options are limited. You need a game that does not require reading, durable parts, and simple gameply. One easy and simple game is Zimbbos. Zimbbos is a stacking game featuring elephants.

Zimbbos is produced by Blue Orange Games. Blue Orange Games makes high quality board games with real wood pieces, so you know the game will last and stand up to the tests of a three year old. The wooden playing pieces in Zimbbos are colorfully painted and are large enough that they are not a choking hazard. The game is great even for those under three. They will have fun stacking the elephants.

The game consists of 18 playing pieces, 3 balancing bars,10 elephants and 5 wildcards. The wildcard pieces are clowns and animals. You roll the dice to determine how many elephants you have to stack. If you roll a star then you can stack either a wild card piece or a balancing bar. Pieces must be stacked either on the same level of the last piece played or higher. The elephants are numbered 1 through 10. You want to be the person to stack the 10th elephant to win the game.

Playing a game with a three year old usually means deviating from the rules as their attention span is very short. A lot of three year old children seem very interested in doing what you are doing. If you are playing a game, then they want to play. With a game like Zimbbos, it will give the younger kids in your family a game to play and feel included in game night.

It is nice to find games that are made of quality materials and are durable. With its all wooden pieces, Zimbbos will last for a long time. Most of the pieces are a nice size, so they are not a choking hazard. The die is the only part small enough to fit into a mouth. The colorful pieces are really cute that you could just put them on a shelf instead of storing them in their game box.

With its large, wooden pieces and simple rules, Zimbbos makes a great game for younger kids. The game features well made game pieces and simple instructions. It's so much fun to teach and play a game with a young child. A lot of games are too complicated or take too long to play so smaller kids lose interest in playing. A game that is educational, simple, and fun is definitely a game worth giving a try.

I received Zimbos from Blue Orange Games for review. The review is 100% my opinion.
