Your Personal Power You hold the power to shape, mold and create an empowered future. Your most consistent choices, decisions and day-to-day attitudes are either creating or hindering your power to succeed and thrive. Are you using your personal power wisely? Personal power is your overall mental, emotional and physical ability to create, attract and manifest great things in your life. You have the choice and the power to create a self-filling personal and professional future. The good news, you control your choices! Ask yourself these questions: 1. Most of the time, I reward myself emotionally when I’ve done a good job or achieved a goal? 2. Most of the time, I focus my mental energy on what is going right in my life? 3. Most of the time, I am optimistic about my health and physical future? If you quickly answered “Yes” to all three questions, congratulations! You are recognizing and wisely using your personal power. If you were a little hesitant, the next few paragraphs will prove helpful. How can you recognize, harness and direct your personal power? It starts with believing, in your heart of hearts, that you are already powerful. Personal power begins with the belief that you are worthy and deserving of success, happiness and unlimited prosperity. The power to succeed, prosper and live happily begins on the inside, in your mind, and works its way out. It’s an overall empowered mind-set that allows you to make wise and self-confident life choices. When your energy is focused on finding empowering solutions to everyday challenges, you are giving yourself the personal power to succeed and thrive. Personal power also comes from appreciating and using your natural gifts and talents. When you acknowledge, enhance and encourage your natural talents, you’re tapping into your personal power. It’s human nature to want to become your personal and professional best. It’s frustrating to limit your power and hold yourself back. Ask yourself, “How many ways can I positively build for the future using my natural gifts and talents?” Allow and encourage yourself to dream BIG and think POWERFULLY! Let me give you a challenge: I’d like you to make some time during the coming week to acknowledge the “power” of your personal power. Begin to truly recognize and appreciate your natural gifts and talents and the powerful life choices you are making each day. Here’s what I’d like you to do: Set aside some quiet time and make a list of all the things you’re currently doing to reinforce your personal power and support your ability to succeed and thrive. You know, the things you’re already doing day-to-day and may be taking for granted. Example: I stick with a task until it is completed. I see the glass as half full. I enjoy being around positive people. I like to help others discover their natural gifts and talents. I am good with numbers. I walk a mile at least three days a week. I smile and laugh often. After you’ve made your list, ask yourself how it felt to consciously tap into your personal power? Were you surprised at just how many positive ways you’re already using your personal power? I bet you were even acknowledging some of your natural gifts and talents. Wouldn’t you agree that appreciating and consciously acknowledging your personal power and natural gifts and talents will enhance your ability to succeed and thrive? Let me ask you again, are you using your personal power wisely? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To read more self-empowerment strategies please visit my web site: SharonMichaels.com
