Llanview This and That

Guest Author - Lynn McMonigal

Maybe Spencer really is crazy. I had my doubts, even after he kidnapped Marty and then shot himself. But when he started to have conversations with an imaginary Blair – even putting his arm around her and giving her kisses – I had to wonder.

And did I imagine it, or did Spencer actually admit to Rex that he killed Thomas McBain in that alley all those years ago?

I loved seeing Addie come to Blair’s “deathbed” at the hospital. Hearing her tell Blair not to die because “babies aren’t supposed to die before their mamas” brought tears to my eyes. It was also great to heat Addie say she would e the best mama she knew how to be. The entire scene was very touching.

Blair’s first words to Todd after waking up from her illness were “you talk to much.” Those have to be the truest words ever spoken on daytime TV.

Jessica and Natalie decided to do a little sisterly bonding over a message. This seems to be a great way to spend time together while letting go of a little stress. When arriving at the gym, they had a short wait for the massage. That is totally believable. What I couldn’t believe was Jessica ditching her sister for a quickie with Antonio in the steam room. Then upon discovering not her husband, but Noah is in the steam room, Jessica seemed to forget all about her sister. Just how long did she expect her to wait for her?

Speaking of Nat, why do I have the feeling she and John are heading for a break up? Every time Natalie and Vincent run into each other, sparks fly. And those aren’t the only sparks. There is some sort of chemistry between John and Marty also. Now wouldn’t that be an interesting couple! Detective McBain, the man notorious for not talking about feelings, falling in love with Dr Saybrocke, the respected psychiatrist. And don’t forget her teenage son Cole is growing up without a father. Something John can definitely relate to.

The terror that is Spencer Truman seems to have been stopped. Based on Friday's episode, it would appear that Spencer has died. But who did it? The only one I am sure did not is Blair. Other suspects are Todd, Natalie, John, Michael, Rex, Marty, Cole, Starr, and Jack. Did I miss anyone? Stop by the forums to vote on who you think is the killer!!
