Did you know there are alternatives to eBay Radio ?

Yep ... INDEED there is ...

eAuctionAir.com

For the last several years one online radio show has existed, yet there are still many people who have never heard of it.

Michael Donahue hosts the eAuctionAir radio show where he talks about all things related to online auctions, as well as product sourcing tips and cool websites that will help you with your online auction business.

One of the things I like most about Michael's show is he's not afraid to call eBay to the carpet. Far too often all you hear about is the good side of eBay, or other experts who are afraid to point out eBay's flaws.

Not Michael ... he's not a hired voice for eBay so he speaks his mind.

Michael presents the show in an entertaining style that will captivate and make you think about ways you can implement his suggestions in your own online business.

Here's a quote from his website ...

"Irreverent, Informed, Irrepressible...I take it as my sworn duty to ferret out the very best marketing tactics & examples of savvy e-commerce while at the same time, reserving a rabid ferret or two for those who richly deserve them."

The eAuctionAir website recently received a face lift which has brought the site into the 21st century of web 2.0. With each episode you get show notes that include links to the sites and services mentioned on the show. Since the website is designed around Wordpress you get the benefit of adding comments, and interacting with others who listen to the show.

I'm a huge Mac user so I was pleased that Michael submits his radio show to the iTunes podcasting directory for easy download to my iPod. There are other ways you can listen to the show, including MP3 or via a flash based player right on the site.

Michael used to do a live show where you could call in, but I believe you need to contact him prior if you would like to be part of the show.

There is little I would complain about regarding the show, in fact, the only thing I wish he would do differently is make the episodes longer, but I know I am in the minority, as many people want their audio short enough they can burn it to a CD ... to them, I say ... I beg you ... get an iPod or MP3 player and tell Michael to go long ...
