Tip of the Month - Verbs ending in -bir.

Which of the following verbs is correct? Escribir or Escrivir?? Ok, there is a rule for this:

All Spanish verbs ending in -bir are writen with letter "b". For example:

Escribir (To write)
Recibir (To receive, to get)
Inhibir (To inhibit)
Prohibir (To forbid, to prohibit)

But... yes, we have some exceptions, don't worry, as there are just three verbs ending in -vir (instead of -bir):

Exceptions:
Hervir (To boil)
Servir (To serve, to be useful)
Vivir (To live)

Hope this helps!
