Army Wives

Army Wives
I finally got to catch the first two episodes of Army Wives and I am throughly impressed.

Army Wives Synopsis:
Four wives and one husband are Army Wives one of the newer shows on Lifetime. They all face their own individual challenges fitting into the military lifestyle, spouses. They are as individual and different as women or men can be, yet these five connect and unite to help and protect each other’s deepest darkest secrets.

Army Wives Cast:
Claudia Joy Holden is the strong respected officer’s wife, played by Kim Delaney. Kim started acting in All My Children as Jenny Gardner Nelson, younger sister of Tad Martin. She has starred in several movies and TV shows, including L. A. Law, Tour of Duty, CSI Miami, NYPD Blue, The O.C. and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Denise Sherwood is the devoted housewife with a troubled teen played by Catherine Bell. She was best known as Lt Col. Sarah ‘Mac’ Mckenzie in JAG.

Pamela Moran is trying to keep her family out of financial problems played by Brigid Brannagh. You have probably seen her in many of your favorite programs.

Roxy LeBlanc is the mother who marries a soldier after a four-day romance played by Sally Pressman. She is just making it to the TV screen with this her third role and has a new movie do out soon.

Roland Brown is the only male ‘wife’ of Army Wives is a psychiatrist whose wife is suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after returning from her last deployment is played by Sterling K. Brown. He is another one of those faces you have seen on many of your favorite shows.

I really enjoyed watching Army Wives and will definitely add it to one of my regular shows. I like how the characters are so diverse and yet come together regardless of their backgrounds and social status. If more people could come together and respect each others differences the world would be a much happier place.

Turn into Army Wives for new episodes every Sunday night @ 10:00 P.M. ET/PT, with encores Monday nights at 8:00 P.M. ET/PT, or past episodes. You can even watch previous episodes online at Lifetime’s website, and you will find the link at the bottom of this article.

Lifetime has a few other new shows that are looking pretty good, stay tuned for news on them.

Happy Viewing!!
