Anyone who doesn’t believe that mental illness runs in families has never met Llanview’s Laurence family. Whether any of them have actually been certified insane is doubtful, though all the ones viewers have met should be. Both Mitch and Walker were rather maniacal, and Miles seems to be following in their footsteps. OK, so being forced to grow up locked in an institution gives Miles an excuse for being a little nuts. It does not, however, give him license to play God with the lives of Todd or Marty. Now he is not only hearing the voice of Spencer Truman—a dead man—Miles is conversing with him as well. When Spencer’s murderer is finally revealed, the sham of a marriage Miles and Marty have will likely end. Will his stay in Llanview be over as well?

Speaking of Spencer, according to SoapCentral.com, his killer is a woman. The site also reports that Paige will soon be leaving town. Coincidence?
All of Llanview will soon be in mourning over the passing of Asa Buchanan. His death will not only bring short-term visits from Kevin, Joey, Cord, Alex, and Max, it will also bring a sharp drop in Buchanan Enterprises stock. Will the company that Asa spent his entire life building be able to withstand his death?

Jessica and Nash never allowed a little thing like her marriage to Antonio stand in the way of their happiness. Now that the marriage is over, will Antonio let his broken heart keep him from finding his own happiness? Talia has been a good friend to Antonio ever since she arrived at the Llanview PD. Out of respect for his marriage, she has held her feelings for him in check. Now that he is leaning on her throughout his divorce, Talia will have trouble fighting her attraction to her co-worker. As they grow closer, Antonio is bound to notice not only her feelings, but those growing within him. Could Talia possibly be his happily ever after?

Blair is just steps away from finding Todd. This is a good thing for her family. Most of it, anyway. As much as Starr loves her father will she really be happy to have him home? She has mentioned that the only time she has been happy is when she is with Cole. How long will that relationship last once Todd is back? Marty and Blair may be flexible and open enough to allow the teens to spend together. Todd is not likely to be. And somehow, it is doubtful that any help Cole may give in bringing Todd home to his family is going to matter to Manning.
