Body Smoothing oil Recipe

I am a big fan of all bath oils, body smoothing oils, etc. One of the best and easiest ways to stay moisturized is with bath oils. After taking a shower, before towelling off, lather on the bath oil and then dry off excess. This leaves you moisturized all day. Plus, lotion maybe applied on top of the bath oil to leave you perfumed and moisturized all day.

This recipe is great with essential oils added. See link at bottom of page to bath oil recipe with different essential oil blends.

This recipe is used with permission from Lotioncrafter.

Smoothing Oil (a la B&BW)

Percent------ Grams----Ounces------Ingredient

Phase A 66%------330grams-----11ounces---Lotioncrafter EL51 Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer
25%------125grams-----4.17ounces--Lotioncrafter LC8515 or LC995

Phase B 8%-------40grams------1.33ounces--Lotioncrafter Squalane

Phase C 1%-------5grams-------0.17ounces--Fragrance or Essential Oil Blend
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total = 100%------500 grams---16.67 ounces

1. Combine Phase A ingredients and mix until smooth.

2. Add Phase B to Phase A with mixing.

3. Add Phase C and mix until uniform.

4. Package in small serum-type treatment pump bottles for pulse point application, or larger bottles for all over smoothing.
