Tip of the Month - Using the verb Haber.

Tip of the Month - Using the verb Haber.
Verb Haber can be used either as an auxiliary (yo he hablado, tú has dicho, etc...) or as a verb meaning "there is" / "there are".

When not used as an auxiliary verb, Haber must be always used in third person singular, NEVER plural!

Let's see some examples:

Habrá muchas personas en el parque. OK
Habrán muchas personas en el parque. WRONG!
Había tres coches en la calle. OK
Habían tres coches en la calle.WRONG!

Hope this helps!
