Valentine's Gifts for Flower Lovers

Guest Author - Connie Krochmal

With Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s time to think about gift ideas. Expect to pay more for roses this year due to high fuel cost. For that reason, consider alternative flowers for Valentine’s gifts. Tulip bouquets make absolutely stunning gifts for Valentine’s Day, and are much more affordable. Tulips are only one of the possible choices.

With gas so expensive, some florist shops have to charge more for delivery. One way you can save money is to skip the delivery altogether. Instead, pick up the flowers at the shop and present them in person.

Along with the flowers, include other floral-related items. Galison’s floral-decorated stationery items would be an excellent choice. They have a complete line of high-fashion products for the home office. This floral-decorated gift will be something the loved one can enjoy all year.

For 2008 Galison is introducing several new lines of floral-inspired items that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. Origami Lane and Botanica are particularly lovely. The former is beautifully decorated with delicate pink blossoms on white and pink backgrounds intermingled with pink margins and stripes. The result is gorgeous without being trendy.

Botanica depicts various kinds and colors of blooms on green backgrounds. Botanica brings a touch of nature to the indoors, and will have special appeal to flower lovers.

Galison’s new Confetti Garden stationery line is irresistible. This has a pleasing assortment of variously colored blooms and songbirds on rose and gold backgrounds. It gives the impression that spring is in the air.

Galison is also introducing several new types of floral-themed stationery products for 2008 that would make excellent choices for Valentine’s Day. The new Social Note Sets come in attractively decorated boxes with a magnetic closure. These contain 20 flat cards of two designs with matching envelopes. They would gladden the hearts of flower lovers.

Also new from Galison is new Memo Boxes in several floral-related designs. These lovely decorated boxes with a magnetic closure contain 250 sheets of colored paper. Refills are available.

Both the new Social Notes and Memo Boxes are available in various flower designs, including Confetti Garden, William Morris Petals and Vines, Botanica, and Origami Lane.

Galison’s Home Office File Totes offer stylish ways to get organized. The new floral totes include Origami Lane and Botanica. With a die cut handle, this sturdy organizer contains eight interior dividers and an elastic enclosure. It comes with a set of 16 matching labels. The tote measures 11½ by 12½ inches, and looks especially gorgeous with the matching file folders, which are sold separately.

The best floral-related gift for a loved one with a home office would be a complete Origami Lane stationery set from Galison. This would include the file tote with matching folders and labels, a memo mouse pad, social notes, and a set of Sticky Notes.
