Taylor Forrester Marone is losing control

First, her and Nick try for months to have their own baby. Taylor learns that it will be impossible for her to conceive. Knowing that Nick desperately wanted to have a child with Brooke and was hoping that RJ was his child, she is determined to have Nick’s child. After speaking with Bridgette, Taylor and Nick weighed all of their options. They decide to use a donor’s egg. And that’s where everything spiraled south for Taylor.

Because Brooke still uses the last name Marone, her eggs were used in Taylor’s in vitro instead of for scientific purposes. And that was the true intention, it seems. In the middle of all of this was Bridgette, who was responsible for overseeing the procedure and the scientific research. She didn’t realize anything had happened until a lab tech brought it to her attention.

For months, Bridgette agonized over the possibility that Taylor could be carrying her mother’s baby. She has pondered the issue back and forth, wondering if she should tell her mother, Nick, and Taylor. Everything surfaced only when baby Jack became ill.

Now that everything is out, Taylor is having a difficult time dealing with the fact that Brooke is the biological mother. Brooke and Nick have this unexplainable bond, and Nick has never really gotten over Brooke. Even Nick’s mother realizes that his heart is truly with Brooke. Because of Taylor’s erratic behavior, Nick is wondering about the future of his family.

Next Week: Taylor’s actions cause grave danger to someone.

My guess is that baby Jack is the one who will be affected. With Taylor collapsing, losing control, and drinking excessively, it makes you question if she can accept baby Jack and raise him as her own son. But in doing so, she will always deal with Brooke’s meddling. Brooke can promise not to interfere and keep her distance, but we all know that Brooke is very protective of her children. And when she feels a child of hers is in danger, she reacts without thought.

When Taylor and Nick first started to show interest in each other, I knew disaster was coming. Taylor fell for yet another man, who is still in love with Brooke. Taylor should have worked things through with Thorne. Thorne has always been loyal to his significant other. If Taylor and Thorne hadn’t moved so fast, maybe things would have worked out differently for Taylor.
