Springtime is a time of renewal and blossoming. The following is what I hope to see bloom in Spring 2008:



Drucila comes back before Neil and Karen say “I do.”

I am happy to see the budding relationship between Karen and Neil. Karen was very patient with Neil in the beginning of their relationship. Lily & Devon also gave Karen resistance due to the loss of their Mother. Now, everything has changed. There is only one problem though; there is speculation Victoria Rowell may return. Love or hate her, Dru made The Young & the Restless interesting. She is fierce, competitive and will fight for Neil until the bitter end. If Drucila returns, Karen won’t stand a chance.

For Lily to continue seeing Cain.

I love the idea that Cain and Lily are a couple. Cain may be a bit older but Lily has always seemed mature for her age. Cain is a complete switch from Daniel; Daniel is very immature, indecisive and easily swayed by other women such as Amber Moore. Cain is well grounded, knows what he wants and took the time to figure out if Lily is ready for a relationship with an older man. Poor Devon, he will never get his chance with Lily. (And before any of you write me, please note that Devon is adopted so there is no blood relation between Devon & Lily).


For Jeffrey Bardwell to be a distant memory.

At first, I didn’t like the idea of Jeffrey Bardwell blackmailing Gloria, but it has made for great TV. Gloria has tried everything in the book to get rid of Jeffrey: she attempted to frame him for poisoning, she hired a private investigator to follow him and all this with the help of her son, Kevin. But nothing has worked. Now Jeffrey is working with Jack to spook Gloria out of the Abbott mansion. I never thought the day would come when Jack would work together with the likes of Jeffrey. Jack and Sharon are desperate to get rid of Gloria once and for all. If Jeffrey can help pull off this scheme, he will receive a handsome reward from Jack which will be a better payoff than he could ever hope to receive from Gloria.
