This was a shocker to me. When Lily first showed an interest in modeling, I thought she was following in the footsteps of her mother, Drucilla. Lily was finally independent, has found a beautiful and decent man, and has a great career. Now, everything has come to a screeching halt due to her pregnancy. Cane seems excited and is looking at this as a good thing. Lily is flabbergasted and in disbelief. Neil was in shock as well, but he was mostly shocked that Lily may not keep the baby. I wonder how Cane will react to the possibility that Lily may want to end her pregnancy. Cane seems like a traditionalist to me. Remember when he dumped Amber because of her scheming ways? Cane is older than Lily and has strong values. Therefore, I see friction in Cane and Lily’s relationship.


Mallet & Marina?
As the World Turns

It’s about time these two give it a shot. Marina and Cyrus seemed so forbidden that it was exciting to watch, whereas Mallet and Marina just seem like a good fit. They are both strong-willed detectives who are focused on their work. Their relationship would be solid. The two people who would have an issue with their union would be Frank, Marina’s father, and Dinah, Mallet’s ex-wife. Dinah still has hope that her and Mallet will get back together. Marina has had so much heartbreak: Alan-Michael, Danny and Cyrus.


Victor & Sabrina
The Young & the Restless

I am not in favor of this union. Victor has spent many years chasing young, attractive women: Nikki, Ashley, and now Sabrina. I never thought that I would see Victor courting one of his daughter’s dearest friends. Sabrina has accepted a job offer from Victor to stay in Genoa City. When the truth comes out, I am sure that Victoria will be furious, and because of Victor’s actions, he will have a strained relationship with both Victoria and Nicholas.

I would love to see the first two couples survive against the odds. They are interesting to watch and bring spice to their respective shows. I soon hope to write about another couple in the near future: Mike & Katie!
