This was a whirlwind week on the Young and the Restless. Tensions ran high between the foursome: Phyllis, Nick, Jack and Sharon. Jack & Nick’s arguments, especially their fight for power, made for great television. Phyllis accused Nicholas of siding with his ex-wife, Sharon, on everything from running the magazine to singing her praises. Interestingly, when Phyllis accused Sharon of opening an e-mail containing a virus, Jack chose to believe Phyllis’s accusation, but Amber was the real guilty party. The virus temporarily disabled files and halted the first issue of the magazine. With this being their first issue, how are these four going to keep peace?

Nick’s Dilemma

Nick is right where he wants to be. Ever since Nick took an interest in Bridgette, there has been a tug of war. Brooke left Nick, and Nick fell in love with Bridgette. Bridgette got pregnant with Nick’s child, but eventually she lost the baby. Nick admitted to Bridgette that he was still in love with her mother, Brooke. Now, without Brooke as a possible interest, he and Bridgette are trying to rekindle their romance. But, of course there is another woman: Katie Logan. Katie is Bridgette’s aunt and Brooke’s younger sister. She has genuine feelings for Nick, but she didn’t want to admit them before the shooting. Now, everything has changed. Nick is keeping it “all in the family” when it comes to his love life.

Brad & Katie

Katie is competing with another woman again, but Janet doesn’t pose as big of a threat as Carly. Jack is still in love with Carly, and Katie’s relationship with Jack was doomed from the start. With the additional complication of Brad’s daughter, Liberty, Katie’s marriage is off to a rocky start. Janet has made it clear that she wants a romantic relationship with Brad. Brad has tried to shrug her off and keep the harmony between everyone, but Katie may have someone else to worry about: Liberty. Liberty is wondering how it would be to have a mother and a father around. If Liberty wants Brad with Janet, Katie had better watch out.
