If you're looking for adventure or just a way to save money while enjoying the great outdoors, maybe a State Park should be on your summer travel plans.
If you live in the United States, chances are you're little more than an hour or two away from a State Park. A wide variety of activities are offered through that State Parks System. Some common activities include swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, camping, boating, picnicking and nature programs. Not all of these activities are available at every State Parks.
