The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Hosts: Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery, All My Children, ABC) Sherri Shepherd (The View, ABC) The Daytime Emmys had many changes this year. First, each show had their own table; very different from the rows of seats that we are accustomed to. Also at each table were video cameras for the guests to take pictures/video. (To view, click on the link below.) Tyra Banks won for Outstanding Informative Talk Show, and gave a very memorable speech. Regis Philbin received the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is well deserved. This year, the Daytime Emmys introduced a new format for the nominees of Outstanding Drama Series. They showed clips of each show highlighting different stages of life. Here are the CBS Winners: Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series – Gina Tognoni (Dinah Marler, Guiding Light) Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series – Jennifer Landon (Gwen Munson, As the World Turns) Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series – Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters, The Young & the Restless) Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series – Jeanne Cooper- (Katherine Chancellor, The Young & the Restless) Source: The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, televised 6/20/08, 8 p.m.,EST on ABC.
