Gardeners have a passion for flowers. This love of flowers can also extend to home décor. Decorating with floral fabrics has never been so easy. The following books make it very simple.

If you’ve ever wanted to decorate your home with floral fabrics, now’s your chance. Deserving of praise, several books feature projects made with flower prints. “Thimbleberries Making Your House a Home” by Lynette Jensen was released by Landauer Books. This home decorating notebook contains 14 wonderful projects that allow you to achieve a customized, coordinated look throughout the house with your selected fabrics.

The projects feature all sorts of items, some of which are quilts. Among these are projects for table décor, throw pillows, rugs, and wall hangings. For bedrooms, there are quilts in assorted sizes with matching bed ruffles, pillow shams, and drawstring bags for storage. For bathrooms, the author designed towels and shower curtains.

These projects combine floral prints and solids for a pleasing result. The projects are designed for all skill levels. For each project, there are lush color photos, color layouts, and color illustrated, simple and easy directions along with a list of fabrics, and a cutting chart.

This also covers all the basic quilting and sewing techniques. Throughout the book are sidebars and boxes with quick tips.
