5 Questions with Sofia J
By Shelia M. Goss

How would you categorize your music?
I would categorize my music as Positive, Peppy, Pop.

Describe yourself in 3 words or less.
Friendly, Spunky and Italian!

If your life was a reality show, what would be the title of it and why?
My reality show would be called "Music Buisiness 101", because I am trying to promote my positive music, and mainstream it into the pop music world!

What was the last good movie you saw?
The last good movie I saw would be Juno.

Pick three songs from your CD and tell me about them.
"A Taste (The La La Song)"- This is a song about being in love, it's fun, infectious, and has been featured on shows like "Gossip Girl and "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" You won't be able to get the hook out of your head!

"Happy To Be Me"- I wrote this song because there are so many women who have issues with themselves, including myself- and this song gives you the message that you should be happy to be you, and happy with what you have, as opposed to what you don't have.

"Back in Time"- This song was written while my friend was going through a divorce. It shows the heartache within a broken relationship, and the aftermath of losing love. This is something that lots a people can relate to, whether its a breakup, or even a divorce- so I wrote this song with those emotions in mind.
Sofia J's positive, peppy pop can be heard on MTV'S MADE theme song, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill & The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
