Microsoft OneNote Review for Bloggers

Microsoft OneNote Review for Bloggers
Everyone who uses Microsoft OneNote loves it and everyone who doesn’t use it usually doesn’t know about it yet. OneNote seems to be Microsoft’s best kept secret. It is the perfect software program helpful to bloggers trying to organize the wide range of technical and non-technical data that takes over their laptop once they start blogging.

Information is coming at the blogger from all sides. Bloggers need to store administrative and technical information from host companies and domain registrar companies, save website passwords, organize content and advertising research and more.

The beauty of Microsoft OneNote is that a user can create any number of notebooks, each notebook organized by sections and pages/sub-pages. There is no right or wrong way to organize content, a blogger can create a notebook for each blog or niche in any fashion they are comfortable organizing their data.

In addition bloggers can create on the fly to-do lists wherever they want in any page, insert screen and web clippings (handy to save the look of a site before you make changes), print files or website pages to OneNote, or add shortcut links to most used files to find fast while in OneNote. Apply tags to your notes and find any information fast with OneNote’s cross notebook search functionality. Microsoft OneNote is just a big desk with a lot of files and notes at a user’s fingertips.

OneNote is quite intuitive to Microsoft users however if one wants to learn more outside of free YouTube tutorials there are books at Amazon and in the Kindle store to help.

If OneNote doesn’t seem to be the perfect gift for the blogger in your life, there is a good chance they won’t be disappointed using OneNote to organize other things in their life. Additional uses for OneNote include organizing crafting supplies and projects, shopping lists, recipes, homework (perfect for students of all ages), home improvements and more.

Before purchasing OneNote, see if it is available in a copy of Microsoft’s many office suites. It might be one of those programs that weren’t installed because you didn’t know what it was.
