As the World Turns has had an interesting year full of controversy: Luke’s coming out, Holden and Carly's affair. Well in the coming year I would like to see some changes. Here are my wishes:

Jack & Carly, together again

I think its time for Carly to quit playing games. Carly tried to be good and play matchmaker to Jack and Janet. But let's be real; there will never be another woman for Jack. No matter what Carly has done in the past, it does not matter because Carly and Jack are meant to be. To help facilitate this process, Jack should stop stringing Janet along. Remember Carly and Jack almost slept together a few weeks ago? If Janet hadn't walked in, things may be a lot different now.

Dusty to find Johnny

Ever since Jennifer's death, Dusty has been on a lonely path. First, he sabotages his relationship with Emily by sleeping with Allison. Then, Dusty wrecks Lily's marriage by stringing her along to the point of breaking her spirit. Lily became obsessed with Dusty and almost lost her life. Now that Dusty is back from the dead, I hope to see him reunited with his son. The only person that will try to stop him is Craig Montgomery.

One man for Emily

I think Emily is the most hated woman in Oakdale. She has alienated herself from most of the Oakdale women, and dated or had some involvement with most of the Oakdale men. So why can't she find an available man to care for her and just want her? Her fixation on Paul, pushed her to the brink of attempting suicide, and now she has set her sights on Dusty, for the second time. And since Emily does not need saving, Dusty is not interested. Emily's craziest moment this year was her relationship with Casey Hughes. She put up a sorry fight against Casey's advances. Once she had Casey hooked, she entertained him, but when he wanted to get serious, she backed away. She even went as far as to have a tubal ligation, ensuring they would never have children. She knew Casey would be livid, and back away. Now that Dusty's back, she dropped Casey immediately. In the new year, Emily needs a
man who is strong, available and new to Oakdale.
