  • Father's Day At Riverbound Farm June 16. Cheshire. An opportunity to build a bird feeder with, or for, your father. (203) 634 1911.
  • Father's Day June 16. Bridgeport. Free admission to all dads who are accompanied by their families. (203) 394 6565.
  • Open Cockpit Weekend June 16. Windsor Locks. Climb into the cockpits and be the pilot of a variety of aircrafts. (860) 623 3305.
  • Maine

    • Free Fishing June 15-16. Statewide. Any person except those whose license has been revoked or suspended may fish without a license throughout Maine. (207) 287 8000.
    • The Annual Androscoggin River Canoe/Kayak Race June 16. Bethel. Racing classes will complete a course of 12 miles, both downstream and upstream while recreation classes will complete 8 miles. The event will be part of a weekend of racing and paddling, including a children's race on Saturday. (207) 824 4224.
    • Father's Day June 16. Boothbay. Fathers will be admitted free when accompanied by their child. Includes steam train and Model T rides. (207) 633 4727.

      Massachusetts

      • Play Catch at Fenway June 16. The tickets go on sale at the Fenway's box office Thursday, June 6, 2002 and will be available until they're sold out. The tickets will cost $10 for adults and $8 for children under 12. Tickets are free for season ticket holders.
      • Father's Day Main Street Car Show June 16. Cape Cod. Cars will assemble at the Cape Cod Mall to take a leisurely cruise down Main Street. (508) 362 5230.
