Drive Me Wild

Drive Me Wild
Hello, and welcome back! Hopefully you've all made it through the holiday season and into the new year unscathed, or relatively so. And hopefully you've all gotten some good new reading material to start off the fresh new year. I bet some of you are even getting the wintry weather we're wishing for here. Instead of snow, we've just got ugly gray, so we're making do with fresh bread from the machine and trying out new soup recipes.

This time out, I have the latest from P. J. Mellor, Drive Me Wild (Aphrodisia). This trio of novellas circles around two sets of twins and their sexy partners. In 'Double Trouble', Ryan Wright reluctantly agrees to trade places with his irresponsible twin, only he didn't know he was also getting a fiancee in the form of sexy Penny Harding. He also didn't know his brother was so in debt that goons were threatening to rough him up, and worse. But Ryan can't seem to keep his hands off his brother's fiancee, even though he really wants to tell her about his true identity. 'Double the Pleasure' has Megan Hartley heading to her high school reunion with her sister Suzanne, where Megan runs into her old crush Jake Stanton, the guy who called her by her sister's name. Then there's the psychic connection between Megan and Suzanne, only their connection works best when one of them is in bed having the time of her life. 'Double the Fun' has Suzanne Hartley heading off for a quickie vacation where she runs into Braeden Wright on the beach, and they can't seem to keep their hands off one another. Darn. There are a lot of issues throughout this one, starting with Ryan sleeping with his brother's fiancee while he lies to her. And Braeden's behavior in Ryan's story makes it nearly impossible to like him when it's his turn. Then there's the very dysfunctional relationships between Megan and Suzanne, and Ryan and Braeden. If you can ignore these in favor of just going from sex scene to sex scene, you might enjoy this one. I did not, however. This one gets only two of Cupid's five arrows.

Until next time, happy reading!
