Pamper Mom with Wei East We Hope Collection

Pamper Mom with Wei East We Hope Collection
In the fall of 2008 Wei East introduced the WE Help Bring Hope Collection to support the work of The Autism Treatment Center and Autism Speaks.

"WE all need hope… Do you remember the last time you felt hope? Did you feel excited, happy, energized, courageous, all of the above? In spite of our daily challenges in life, having Hope gives each of us our own rainbow."

WE Help was inspired by hope," says Wei Brian, founder of Wei East. Wei chose to launch WE Help’s program with the cause of autism because of her personal experience with the disorder. "At the age of 6 ½, my son was diagnosed with autism and my husband and I were devastated. But, as a result of The Autism Treatment Center of America, we began to hope again as they taught us how to reconnect with our son and he with us. Since it’s beginning, Autism Speaks has worked to build hope by building awareness and understanding of autism throughout the world. Both organizations are true gifts, giving all of us hope again for the future."

The collection is comprised of Wei East eight best selling formulas, that normally would cost over $300, but in the WE Hope collection the cost is $70. The following items are part of this collection:

China Herbal Foaming Cleanser 6oz
China Herbal Youth Recaptured Serum 1 fl oz
China Herbal Eyes Alive 0.7oz
China Herbal Ultimate Renewal 1.5oz
White Lotus Defining Moment Finishing and Correcting Serum 0.5 fl oz
White Olive Tinted Lip Smoother 0.28oz
China Herbal Hand & Body Perfection 3.5oz
China Clay Purifying Masque 3.5oz

I have seen Wei East products demonstrated and promoted for several years now on Home Shopping Network (HSN) and have purchased the China Herbal Hand & Body Perfection in the 3.5 oz size.

The box shown in the picture is great to keep for storing the products. There is also a product guide and two colorful index cards. The blue one offers a listing of the products in the collection with a brief sentence describing each item.

"Foaming Cleanser Is Your Bright Hope
Brighten your complexion with this soap-free, oil-free foaming cleanser
with Chinese Rose and Lotus flowers.

The yellow card explains the meaning of the box with the blue sky and the beams of sunlight offering hope. Wei shares how her son is an active member of the family, playing games and having real conversations. I will share another sentence from this card, but please do note I personally do not agree with this statement nor do I support Autism Speaks. " He's growing out of his autism world and is now ready to join our world."

Also included in the box is a white glossy paper that explains the usage for these products, indicating which is used in the morning, evening and as needed.

The White Lotus Defining Moment Finishing and Correcting Serum is in a sleek silver canister and has a pleasing scent to it. After pumping a few times you will get an off white serum that comes out quick and fast. You need to be careful when twisting the clear cap off. A few times I had the contents in a separate tube pop out. It needs to be twisted on tight.

It is mentioned for each product to avoid getting into eyes. On the flip side of the glossy paper are the ingredients. Their tag line at the bottom is Simple. Healthy. Elegant. Happy.

Most of the items are sealed in plastic wrap or have another type of seal on them. The hand and body lotion is white and creamy. It does take time to get used to the herbal scent. The China Herbal Eyes Alive is a white cream that goes on gentle and feels good.

The White Olive Tinted Lip Smoother is too red tone for my tastes, but goes on with ease with a nice angled tip. The China Herbal Foaming Cleanser is a green shade and mentions on the back that it effectively removes make-up without stripping. I have been plagued with eczema my whole life and with my face clear of any flareups I am not going to chance using a cleanser since that is not part of my normal routine.

The China Herbal Youth Recaptured Serum is also in a sleek silver case design, but clear in the middle so you can see the serum. Three to four drops are used on the face and neck. This pumps out slower than the finishing serum. I have not tried the China Clay Purifying Masque yet, but it does state you can use once a week or as often as needed.

The China Herbal Ultimate Renewal is in a clear jar with foil wrap sealing the contents. This is to be applied daily to your face. Some of the ingredients found in the We Hope Collection are:

Green Tea, Bamboo, Ginkgo Leaf Extract, Safflower, Mushroom, Chinese Rose, Yellow 5, Xanthan gum, Mulberry Leaf Extract, Sesame Seed Oil, Ginger Root Extract, Seaweed Extract, Black Sesame Seed Extract, Blue 1, Mandarin Orange, Pomegranate Leaf Extract, Kaolin, Wild Honeysickle, Stearic Acid, Fragrance.

This is a nicely organized collection that would make a great gift for a colleague, presenter at an autism function, Mother and/or Grandmother for Mother's Day and even Valentine's Day or for a gift to a clinic at holiday time for the office staff.
