Social Bookmarking SitesAlmost everyone has their own private bookmarks saved within their browser. The list of links tends to grow, often in a disorganized fashion. The links saved with your browser tend to be your own private list of likes, interests and reference information. One of the drawbacks of saving favorite links within a browser is that the links are only accessible from one computer. Using an online social book marking site allows you to access your favorites from any computer, public or private. Social book marking also allows you to connect with people who have similar interests who may highlight articles you might otherwise miss. As they say, great minds think alike and book marking offers another way to engage with others. Like blogging you can develop a following of devoted readers who are interested in similar sites. It’s like being able to turn to someone and say hey, did you read this. Can you believe it? Most site allow you to tag your pages, so others can easily find information on your chosen topic.
