The best pumpkin pie recipe ever from Libby's. Make this pie 1 day ahead of your event.

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 can (15 ounce) Libby's 100% pure pumpkin
1 can (12 ounce) evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
whipped cream for garnish, optional



DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 425F.

2. In a small bowl, mix MIX sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves
3. Beat eggs in large bowl with wire whisk.
4. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
5.Pour into pie shell.
6. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° F.; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
7. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.
8. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with whipped cream before serving, if desired.
