Eternal Hunter

Eternal Hunter
Hello, and welcome back! We got that little bit of warm weather, and now it's back to winter, which suits me just fine. The boys aren't as happy about it, but they have plenty to keep them occupied indoors until it warms up for real again, as do I, with all the great books on my desk. Since my (hopefully temporary) unemployment has begun, I have plenty of reading time, so I'm hoping there are a lot of good reads here in the stack.

This time out, I have the latest from Cynthia Eden, Eternal Hunter (Brava), the newest installment in her 'Others' series. Erin Jerome has a stalker, and he's giving her the bodies of those he's killing for her. Bounty hunter and shifter Jude Donovan is on the case. And developing a serious case of lust for the not-quite-human assistant D.A. But her stalker is bent on having her for himself, and Jude will have his work cut out for him keeping her safe. As for keeping his hands to himself, well, that isn't really even an option. Erin's past has the usual bad relationships, but hers have been compounded by the fact of her parentage and the tiny bit of 'Other' running through her that comes out a little more in intimate situations, and that's a little too much for human guys. What she needs, and what Jude is happy to provide, is a man who can take a little wild in his woman. Heck, he'll even encourage her wild side to come out and play. It took me a little while to warm up to this series, but I am totally hooked now, and Jude is an absolutely delicious hero. They don't get much better than this sexy tiger shifter who won't let anyone hurt his mate. Erin is conflicted, but there's really no way she can resist Jude, and honestly, why would any woman try? She does have family issues, too, that get in the way of her trusting herself to get emotionally involved with a man, but there's simply no possibility of not falling for Jude. I'm borrowing four of Cupid's five arrows for this one and waiting for the next chapter in this saga.

Until next time, happy reading!
