Tattoos are Front and Center for EverymanFor years now, PETA has gotten tattooed celebrities to bare their all and show their tattoos in the name of stopping the wearing of furs. Taking a page from their book, a new campaign to raise awareness in the UK has produced their own inked and educational images. Featuring Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, the image is for the UK organization Everyman, which works to raise awareness and funds for the prevention of prostate and testicular cancer. The Everyman Male Cancer Research Centre's latest campaign features the rocker standing there in just his tattoos. The inkwork is all black-and-white, showing a full sleeve on his left arm, a nearly-full sleeve on his right and some torso work, including a stunning eagle that spreads across his ribs and sternum from side to side just below his pecs. But don't worry about the meat and two veg, the photos got that in hand. Or hands plural as the case may be. Levine's current girlfriend, Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna literally lent her hands to the photo shoot. From her kneeling position hidden behind the naked singer, her brightly-manicured hands prevent viewing of any of the naughty bits. The image will be featured in the February issue of Cosmopolitan UK as the centerfold. In interviews Levine has said he had no problem doing the shoot, as his California lifestyle apparently includes plenty of taking off his kit. And this isn't the first time Cosmo UK has had a nicely tattooed bit of beefcake grace their pages. They've had a variety of inked men appear in their magazine. If you take the time to skim through their online gallery of past features, you can see singer Shayne Ward and his tribal tats, rugby player Ugo Monye or actor Stephen Baldwin who appears to be the most tattooed of the Baldwin brothers. Take a look at Adam Levine's racy image, or go learn more about Everyman's goal to stamp out male cancer.
