Romantic Hairstyle Instructions

Guest Author - Lynne Chapman

When the next occasion comes along that calls for a dressy hair style, opt for something other than a updo. Fo instance, for the very feminine strapless dress, try wearing you hair down and styled into controlled waves.

  1. Begin by choosing a shampoo and conditioner that is formulated for your individual hair type. Body building products are for fine hair. Moisturizing and smoothing products are for coarse and frizzy hair.
  2. Apply a firm hold styling foam or glaze to damp hair - roots to the ends.
  3. Blow your hair dry quickly with an ionic hair dryer in order to maintain optimum condition and body.
  4. Set your hair with large pre-heated hot rollers. Spray lightly with hairspray. After the rollers are cool, remove them carefully so that you donít pull on your hair.
  5. Brush your hair back off your face and then part it on one side, allowing it to fall in face-framing, soft waves.
  6. To add control and to take away any wispiness use a light hair cream, such as ARTec Texture Cream.
    1. Apply a small amount to the palms of your hands.
    2. Rub your hands together.
    3. Lightly run your fingers through your hair.
    4. This will calm frizziness and separate the waves.

  7. After styling with your fingers, use a firm-hold hairspray around your face to keep it in place all evening.
