Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

1 pound fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (7 1/2 oz.) can crab meat
4 tablespoons soft bread crumbs
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped chives
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 tsp. ground white pepper

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Remove stems from mushrooms; brush caps with melted butter. Arrange in greased baking dish.
3. Drain and flake crab meat.
4. In a small bowl, combine crab meat, 2 tablespoons bread crumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, chives, lemon juice, pepper and 2 tablespoons butter in small bowl.
5. In another small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons butter and remaining bread crumbs. Set aside.
5. Fill each mushroom cap 3/4 full with crab mixture. Sprink butter and bread crumb mixture over top.
6. Bake for 15 minutes; serve hot.
