Zoo Tycoon's fun was having a wide selection of animals, each with its own wants and desires, to care for, breed, and build homes for. The only real downside with Zoo Tycoon was that after a while you'd already worked with the same animals over and over again.

With Marine Mania, not only do you get all the great marine animals, but you also get dinosaurs too! So you can build dolphin attractions and aquatic buildings, even adding water areas to your regular animal exhibits. Plus you can build your own Jurassic Park area, with a wide assortment of dinosaurs to choose from.

The great Zoo Tycoon learning aspect is there too. You get to learn all sorts of neat facts about these animals you're working with, and really do feel like an accomplished zoo-keeper when you make each animal very happy. It makes you appreciate real zoos even more than before!
