Saints Row Walkthrough
HUD - Heads Up Display

You have a variety area on your HUD that help you keep track of what you are doing. I will describe them by quadrant.

Top Left
You only get this on certain missions. When you run mini-games for example, it will tell you what level you're on here and how you are doing. If you're on a car collecting mission, you can have it show you the car you're looking for, including a little image of that car.

Top Right
This is your health, stamina and respect area. The top red half-circle is health. If you are injured and find a safe place to stand, it'll auto-repair. It'll also get repaired if you eat something. The yellow half-circle beneath that is your stamina bar, how far you can run. If you stand still it'll auto-repair.

The center of this area shows your current weapon. The number on the left is the ammo in your current clip and on the right shows the total ammo you are carrying. If you're on a mission with infinite ammo, it'll show the infinity symbol - i.e. the side by side circles.

Note when you're *choosing* your current weapon, the "health bar" beneath it shows how much ammo you have compared to the max you can carry for this weapon.

The lower purple half-circle shows your respect bar. It fills up from left to right. Once it fills up it'll show 2x and start filling up again, up to 3x, 4x and so on. You gain respect by performing missions and mini-games, and you use respect to start a new mission.

Lower Left
The lower left area has your local map in its center. There will be a N in a circle to show which way is north. In the top area of the circle will be gang symbols to show who is currently angry with you. This can be:
Crowns - Vice Kings
Wheels - Rollerz
Crosses - Carnales

In the bottom part will be stars to show the current cop anger level. The anger level reduces automatically as long as you don't antagonize them further. Once there is a line with no stars / symbols you are "on probation" - they won't bug you as long as you leave them along. If there are multiple stars then each time it goes from full to empty, one star will go away.

In the middle area, i.e. the map area, blue dots will "walk along" to head you towards your next mission. Red dots are cops or enemies. The yellow triangle is you.
