Itís a hello from me, just popping in for a quick chat and I hope allís well at your end. Had a wonderful stay with my daughter and her husband and their gorgeous chocolate Labrador, Cadbury. We went on a few ďnanny walksĒ, I was a very proud nanny. He is such a gentle dog, and has the most pleasing nature. He simply adores my daughter and SIL, and when theyíre in the room, only has eyes for them.

With all the rain Queensland has had this year, the bush is very, very green and lush, especially from the air. I donít think I can remember seeing the landscape so healthy looking. Some graziers are saying that because of the huge rains weíve had, the next few years will bring bumper crops and herds. So as always, you canít have a rainbow with the rain.

Iím in the mood for finishing things. Most unusual for me, as I tend to flit from one project to another. But over the recent times, Iíve completed a few outstanding projects and am now getting a full steam of head. I started a project a few years ago, making Suffolk puffs (sometimes called yo-yoís).
Well, I wanted to make a vest out of the yo-yoís and only got about 20 puffs made, then lost interest. Well, Iím keen to get this finished so thatís what Iím doing most of my spare time. Iíll photograph it when itís finished and you can tell me what you think. I saw one on a girl wearing a white shirt and jeans, and she looked FABULOUS! So hereís hoping!!

Last Sunday I posted the final instalment of Free Block of the Month programs that Iíve sourced from the web. Hereís the link for you to check it out: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art10182.asp

Allís quite on the forum at present Ė donít forget itís your forum, so bring your questions and weíll see what answers you come up with. Hereís the link to the forums: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php/forums/43/1/Quilting

http://cathiefilian.blogspot.com/2009/03/make-it-transferring-images-to-fabric.html Ok, a very easy and understandable tutorial on using bubble jet for transferring images onto fabric

http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/clothes-for-dogs I know itís not patchwork but we have to remember our four legged friends.

http://katydiddys.blogspot.com/2011/01/mp3-player-fabric-sling.html I take my hat off to anyone who really uses this as itís meant to be used (in the gym). I salute you!!

http://peppermintplum.blogspot.com/2010/12/sewn-paper-candy-pouch.html I love this idea and itís great for childrenís parties and any reason!!!

Well, dear quilters, thatís all Iíve got for you this week. I do hope the weather has been kind in your neck of the woods and that youíre getting some time to enjoy some quilting.
