Ric Flair Mini Bio
This article is a mini biography of one of the greatest wrestlers of all time in Ric Flair

Hey Wrestling Fans,

Here are the results for the WWE 2008 Royal Rumble:

The first match was Ric Flair versus MVP. It was a good match and at one point, MVP thought he had won because he pinned Flair and the ref counted to three but then the ref saw Flair's foot on the bottom rope so he ordered the match to continue. Flair finally captured MVP in the figure four leglock and made MVP tap out. Flair lives to wrestle another day.

In the next match, Chris Jericho battled JBL and got himself disqualified after he blasted JBL with a steel chair. Prior to this, Jericho was busted open and his face was a bloody mess. After being disqualified, he tossed the chair at JBL and knocked him down again and almost out. Jericho then grabbed a big cable, dragged it into the ring over the top rope, wrapped it around JBL's throat and neck and then climbed out of the ring and pulled on the cable, trying to choke the life out of JBL. He was finally stopped by a couple of referees and the crowd cheered wildly for him as he made his way to the back.

The next match was for the World Title as Rey Misterio took on Edge with Vicky Guerrero at ringside. These two men fought hard and each had a couple of near falls and Rey was finally able to nail Edge with the 619 shortly after the Major Brothers were told to leave ringside much to Edge's chagrin. After hitting the 619, Rey went up to the top turnbuckle and leaped off nailing Edge with a beautiful flying splash and then covered him for what should have been the three count but as the ref was making the third fall, Vicky Guerrero came over and pulled the ref almost out of the ring. The ref and Rey were both asking Vicky what she was doing and admonishing her. Rey turned back to the match and leap frogged over a spear attempt by Edge. Edge then wound up in position for another 619 and as Rey attempted it, Vicky climbed up and protected Edge with her body so Rey nailed the both of them but Vicky Guerrero took the brunt of the blow so Edge wasn't terribly affected by it. Rey attempted his splash from the top rope but as he came off, Edge leaped up into the air and nailed Rey with a flying spear and then got the three count. Edge retained his title.

Maria came out to the ring to do the first ever Royal Rumble "Kiss Cam" and then Ashley came out to tell her that Hugh Hefner called her and told Ashley that they wanted Maria to pose in Playboy. Santino Marella came out and started bashing New York and its' sports teams and told Ashley that he had a gift for her. A person covered in a black cloth came into the ring and Santino yanked the cloth off to reveal the fat oily naked guy, Big Dick Johnson. He handed Ashley two rubber chickens and began his obnoxious dance routine. Ashley then began to beat him with the rubber chickens and chase him from the ring.

Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton battled next for the WWE Title. It was a hard fought battle and Jeff took a few chances with high risk moves and eventually got pinned when he went for the twist of fate but Orton reversed it into an RKO and got the pinfall to retain his title.

The Rumble was next and the first two in the ring were the Undertaker at number one and HBK Shawn Michaels at number two. The following are the rest of the participants in the order they were drawn: Santino Marella, the Great Khali, Hardcore Holley, John Morrison, Tommy Dreamer, Batista, Hornswoggle, Chuck Palumbo, Jamie Noble, C.M. Punk, Cody Rhodes, Umaga, Snitzky, the Miz, Shelton Benjamin, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Kane, Carlito, Mick Foley, Mr. Kennedy, Big Daddy V, Mark Henry, Chavo Guerrero, Finlay, Elijah Burke, Triple H, and much to everyone's surprise, Number 30 was....John Cena. The crowd blew up when Cena came out.

When Hornswoggle came out, he immediately hid under the ring for most of the rumble and only appeared twice. The Miz was being pushed out over the top rope and fighting to stay in but Hornswoggle came out from under the ring and pulled Miz out over the top rope by pulling on his hand and arm.

He tried to do the same thing when Mark Henry was being put out but Henry stopped himself and pulled Hornswoggle into the ring. Hornswoggle was then surrounded by Henry and Big Daddy V and they were about to turn his day bad until Finlay came out and hammered both Henry and Big Daddy v with his shillelagh. Finlay was disqualified for usin his club and he left the ring with Hornswoggle.

At one point, Piper and Snuka were battling each other and everyone in the ring stopped fighting to watch these two legends go at it. Finally, Kane came out and eliminated the both of them.

The final three were Batista, Triple H and John Cena. Triple H eventually eliminated Batista and then slugged it out with Cena. Finally Cena eliminated Triple H with the FU over the top rope and won the Rumble. Now Cena goes on to Wrestlemania to challenge a champion.

I was a little disappointed that there were no tag team belt matches and no ECW Championship match. Other than that it was a pretty good card overall. I will give it three and a half body slams out of five.

That's it for now. See you at the matches.
