We love staying in low-key B&Bs where the focus is on comfort and good old-fashioned hospitality, which is just what we found at Admiral Peary Inn in Fryburg, Maine.

Our first view of the red sandstone pile that fairly screams late-Victorian Scottish baronial estate, was one of those “oh, wow!” travel moments. And it just kept getting better and better.
