Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary [offsite link] Feathered Friends Sanctuary is a non profit organization committed to provide a safe haven including proper veterinary care, nutrition, socialization, physical & mental stimulation, and clean, spacious living areas. Space is not only provided in our home, but in our hearts. Florida Keys Wild Bird Center [offsite link] I have been to this center several times and love it there. This organization saves hundreds of birds in the Florida Keys. Gulf Coast Exotic Bird Sanctuary [offsite link] Gulf Coast Exotic Bird Sanctuary is a registered non-profit that provides permanent refuge and veterinary care for exotic birds that are rescued, handicapped, aggressive or whose previous owners would like them to live out their lives in a sanctuary environment. Major Setback for the Whooping Cranes  On Friday, Feb. 2 a Florida storm struck a devastating blow to the efforts of conservationists to reestablish crane populations. They'll bounce back, they say. That's the stuff die-hards are made of. Mississippi Rescue Center [offsite link] The Mississippi Rescue Center handles up to 600 animals a year, including wild birds, mammals and other critters. New England Wildlife Center [offsite link] New England Wildlife Center is a native wildlife preservation, rehabilitation, animal habitat and environmental protection, educational organization located in Hingham, Massachusetts. Society of Avian Refuge [offsite link] Based in Orange City, FL, volunteers are spread throughout central Florida. Volunteers have years of experience with bird rescue and adoption. Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary [offsite link] Located in Florida, this complex helps thousands of birds each year. They are located on Indian Shores, on the Gulf side of Florida. Tiny Wings In Need [offsite link] Tiny Wings in Need is locsated in Virginia Beach, Virginia and helps to rescue and rehabilitate birds. Tri State Bird Research & Rescue [offsite link] Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research Inc. is a private, non-profit wildlife rehabilitation organization located in Newark, Delaware. Tri-State provides professional care for injured, oiled & orphaned wild birds, from hummingbirds to bald eagles, at its modern medical rehabilitation facility.
