Boxes and Bags Free Tatting Patterns

Here are some nice tatting patterns for bags in which you can keep your tatting as you work. There is also an attractive little box in which you could store your jewellery.

A Bag for my Tatting star [offsite link]
Here is one of the two prizewinning pieces of tatting by Gillian Buchanan. It won first prize at the 5th Surrey Tatters´ Garden Party in 1999. The pattern uses beads and two-shuttle tatting in fine thread.

This is another pretty pattern for a tatted bag which would not be too time consuming to make.

Tote Bag star [offsite link]
Sharon Albers does not say which thread she used in her pattern but it has been suggested that this sturdy tote bag has been made from fairly thick thread - around No. 10 crochet cotton. This is a fairly simple but very effective pattern.
