Lost in Space (1998)  While Lost in Space had all the makings of a classic, it managed to fall short in the acting and plot department. Robocop (1987)  "Dead or alive, you're coming with me." Alien (1979)  Alien is the benchmark for all sci-fi horror films. Blade Runner (1982)  The best adaptation to date of a Philip K. Dick novel, Blade Runner is a stylish, sexy sci-fi detective story. Cloverfield (2008)  Hold on to your lunch, its going to be a wild ride! District B-13 (2006)  Sub-titles or no, District B13 is just another buddy-action movie with a wafer thin plot – but boy can these guys move! Doom (2005)  Doom has a mediocre plot with a few good moments but ends with a bang. Dune (1984)  David Lynch's Dune is a timeless cult classic. Eternal (2004)  Put the kids to bed and get ready to enjoy a sexy adult thriller with a twist of fantasy. Gwoemul (The Host) (2006)  Gwoemul follows in the footsteps of Gojira to become an instant classic. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)  Order of the Phoenix is a brilliantly written and produced film with some of the best performances and special effects in the series. Independence Day (1996)  Independence Day typifies Pre-9/11 attitudes toward destruction and mayhem. Iron Man (2008)  Marvel, Downey, Paltrow and company got it all right. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)  Sloppy, haggard and ludicrous – this is the first big let down of the year. MIrrorMask (2005)  Too much effect and not enough story. Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End (2007)  Not for the faint of brain matter, Pirates - AWE delivers a fantastic ending to a creative and original trilogy with a complex story that should keep smart viewers on the edge of the plank. Resident Evil (2002)  Resident Evil begins the trilogy of movies based on the popular video game. Resident Evil Apocalypse (2004)  The second installment of what will be the Resident Evil trilogy. Serenity (1999)  Firefly may not have made it in TV-Land, but Joss Whedon delivers a present to all his fans with Serenity. Silent Running (1972)  An acclaimed environmental masterpiece, Silent running is set in a ruined future where huge orbiting spaceships preserve the last remaining trees from pollution and overcrowding on Earth. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004)  Sky Captain mixes 1940's feel with modern technology in order to create an entertaining and breathtaking film. Thanksgiving Tradition – The Lord of the Rings Trilogy  Grab a piece of pumpkin pie, gather the family around and treat yourselves to this modern classic trio of fantasy films. The Fountain (2006)  A mixture of romance, philosophy and science fiction, The Fountain deserves a second look. The Terminator (1984)  The Terminator is a landmark science fiction film that will still give you goose bumps! The Wild Wild West (1999)  This father of modern Steampunk should have been an instant success but fom acting, to plot, to humor, The Wild Wild West missed the target. Transformers (2007)  Michael Bay proves that he can direct explosions and with a little help from Spielberg can also create a movie with heart.
