Organized by state, a "watch list" is a list of birds that are declining in number, some of which may be listed as endangered.

Not all countries are represented here, but most are.

Birdnetīs Checklists star[offsite link]
Birdnet has state bird listings, endangered bird listings, and some listings by state.

Connecticut Bird Checklist star[offsite link]
This list based on the Avian Records Committee of Connecticut has 402 species in it. The three new additions since 1997 are the Cinnamon Teal (#400), Pink-footed Goose (#401), and Cave Swallow (#402).

Illinois Birding Checklist star[offsite link]
This list is pretty plain, but does contain the species found in Illinois, with notes about the status of each.

Maine Birding Checklist star[offsite link]
