Tattysaurus the Dinosaur star[offsite link]
I just had to include this one - not an easy piece but great fun. You need 2 1/2 inch wide wire bracelets to make him. Although Jane specifies Manuela thread, if you cannot obtain this the Flora will do just as well and the DMC No. 20 crochet cottons are also about the same thickness if you can get the colours.

Twinkle Star star[offsite link]
Kreinik are of course using this simple and pretty pattern to sell their metallic threads; however if you donīt want or canīt obtain these, the star could just as well be made in any thread and would also look good with blending filament. However if you use blending filament, use it on the ball thread only until you are used to its handling.
