Spiders Free Tatting Patterns

This is not a section for arachnophobes as it includes a number of free tatting patterns for tatted spiders! Children will love them though.

A Spiderīs Web for Leah star[offsite link]
This pattern for a spiderīs web uses the technique of free tatting from Mary Koniorīs book Tatting with Visual Patterns to create the lace.

Spider star[offsite link]
Here is another of Brenda Bonillaīs wonderful minimalist designs!

Spider star[offsite link]
Lynette Hodgesī Spider is rather more complicated than Brenda Bonillaīs but is another great design!

Tatted Spider star[offsite link]
This clever tatted spider is made by using the technique of blind ends. Basically, you measure a short distance away from your tatting on the second shuttle, and tat back along from the measured point without flipping your stitches. Try it!

Links marked with the [offsite link] designation point to websites not associated with BellaOnline.com. BellaOnline.com is not responsible for the material found there.
